Behind the turntables this time will be DJ Mahogany, who grew up in Brooklyn, New York, but has been creating music in Budapest for years. Known for her eclectic style, “Selectress” takes listeners on journeys that span genres: from pulsating, upbeat grooves to softer, soulful melodies, she incorporates it all into her music. For Mahogany, DJing is storytelling, so she is guaranteed to create a unique, captivating and vibrant atmosphere at Fashion Street.
Erika Szabó will join DJ Mahogany’s eclectic sets on saxophone; Erika brings more than twenty years of stage experience to Fashion Street: she is currently a core member of the Korda Orchestra and regularly rocks Hungary’s biggest stages as part of DESH’s horn section. On this evening, live vocals and saxophone solos will resonate in perfect symbiosis with Mahogany’s pulsating, soulful grooves, weaving the set into a truly unique musical narrative.
