As summer draws to a close, Al Habtoor Palace Budapest welcomes September with a series of experiences designed to capture the final flavours and atmosphere of the season. From an immersive Spritz Masterclass led by Aperol Ambassador Zoltán Rácz to a special End of Summer edition of the Palace’s signature Sunday Brunch, the month invites visitors to savour Italian-inspired flavours, lively entertainment and relaxed moments beneath the iconic Kupola dome. From mid-September, Velvet Bar & Café will also introduce a new music programme, bringing live DJ sets to the elegant bar every Friday and Saturday evening.
Spritz Masterclass – The Art of Italian Aperitivo
On 23 September, Al Habtoor Palace Budapest invites aperitivo lovers to discover the art of the Italian Spritz during an interactive two-hour masterclass led by Aperol Ambassador Zoltán Rácz. The evening begins with an introduction to Italian aperitivo culture and the stories behind some of its most iconic spirits, including Aperol, Campari and Sarti, followed by a guided tasting and an expert-led lesson on creating the perfect Spritz. The experience continues with a selection of additional Spritz creations and aperitivo bites, offering an opportunity to discover new flavours while enjoying an informal evening of conversation and conviviality.
The masterclass takes place on 23 September at Ottimo from 18:00 to 20:00.
